“ Grocery store in Artesia with predominantly Indian groceries. The store is an open plan, well lit and clean. Everything is easy to find. They have a large variety of ingredients as well as a beauty section with lotions and potions. The prices were really good compared to the store I usually go to. I found seasonal items like packs of Holi powder which was perfect timing! I also found some Vicco turmeric cream. Easy street parking available outside. ”
“ Fun store with many surprising items. Always good help to find things. Great prices. Give yourself time to browse all the isles. ”
“ I shop there whenever I go to Artesia.Nice store & friendly staff with mostly Indian products ie. Rice,Spices,Frozen Meals,Vegetables. One thing I'd like to see though is more variety of foods in the frozen section there. ”
“ Pioneer Cash and Carry Indian food store was definitely a good find! I rarely write up about grocery stores, but this one is exceptionally clean and easy to navigate. There were so many things I wanted to buy but obviously overwhelmed. If you have a hard time finding Sunflower Oil organic, they have it, and all the spices one can make on their own is all here. Also mustard seed oil ans sesame oil which I rarely use, but here too! From organic turmeric powder, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon powder (smells so good) and cumin powder-they have it. They also have masala spices, produce and tropical fruits, and lots of basmati rice. Plus, if you are looking for henna hair dyes- it's available! My sister and I had these potato puffs in their bakery section and it was awesome, puff pastry filled with like a smashed potato along with masala spices. So delicious!! They also have dinner roles and cakes. If you are a newbie looking to spice up your home with new things to try, this is definitely a great place to shop. Signs are also easy to read and aisles are organized! Customer service a plus, lots of smiles and thank you for making it quick and painless:) Love it ! ”
“ The place is clean, organized and big. Had a good experience shopping here. Will visit this place over and over again. ”
“ STEPH JUDGEMENT: A great emporium for all your Indian food needs and more. The hubby and I had some time to kill in the area so we decided to check out this store. We were impressed by its size and variety of offerings. We wandered the aisles, checking out all the spices, packaged/frozen foods, personal care products, and produce. Everything was neatly arranged and organized, and we ended up picking up some items to try. The only other store we'd been to in the area was the mini market at the base of the building with the Rajdhani restaurant. That one is fine for basics, but if you need more of a selection, this is much better. I see from reading other reviews that the other Pioneer Cash & Carry is even bigger than this one--looks like we need to check that one out too! ”
“ Cute little market with Indian essentials such as spices, hair/skin care, dessert and veggies and more. I come here only for their turmeric face cream and organic amla hair powder. I prefer this smaller store to their larger sister store down the street. It's got that mom and pop feel. I like that it's never too crowded. Pro tip: park in the back of the store where it's free, otherwise you'll have to pay for the meters on the street. ”
